Prince Edward Retreats acknowledge that, when holding our retreats in Prince Edward County, we will be meeting on the traditional lands and waters of  the Anishnaabeg, Wendat and Haudenosaunee Peoples and directly neighbouring Tyendinaga Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka - Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte.

We are grateful to be able to live, learn and play on these lands which are rich in Indigenous history and continue to be home to First Nations, Metis and Inuit peoples.

We feel it is important to have an understanding of the history of the places we visit and call home in order to be informed citizens and respectful treaty people.
We encourage you to learn more about the role and significance of treaties and our responsibility to these important agreements by visiting: www.nctr.ca
